I use a sliding scale to help determine what a project will cost. Use the scale below to assess what rate is appropriate for you or your organization.

SOLIDARITY |$75/hr

This is a significantly reduced rate meant for:

• working class folks with little to no disposable income or savings
• grassroots groups with an annual operating budget that is less than $1 million.

SUSTAIN |$150/hr

This is a reduced rate meant for:

• individuals who have some disposable income, some savings, and/or another safety net.
• organizations with an annual operating budget that is between $1 million and $3 million

SECURE |$300/hr

This rate reflects the true cost of living and working, and is meant for:

• individuals who have more than a little disposable income, solid savings, investments, and/or property
• organizations with an annual operating budget that is more than $3 million

REDISTRIBUTION |$450/hr

This rate helps subsidize low-cost offerings for people who have less access to resources.
